PPI Query on 1996 Associates/Citi credit Card

Hi all

 

I had a credit Card with The Associates back in 1996 and during the lifetime was bought by CitiCards Limited.

 

Loads of PPI on there but who do I send the SAR to and once received who do I send my claim to as I believe that The Associates are no more.

If Associates are no longer, then try to obtain as much data as you can from Citicards. If Citicards were the last people you paid to, I imagine that is where your claim will go.

Another question that I need to ask is ...

 

As the card was closed five to six (maybe more) years ago I do not have any account numbers for my SAR. Will they reject my SAR, only provide up to the last six years or provide everything. I have estimated from a previous PPI claim with another card issuer that it would come to around £4,000 and as I am no longer resident in the UK what are the chances that they will let it go to court.

Has anyone got an email address for the Citi Cards PPI Claims as the one provided crt.pleaseassist@citi.com just does not get answered. The telephone help line 0800 00 55 00 is not much help as they dont have access to the PPI Claims

 

Even if it is the CEO's email would be a great help to get this dealt with

 

This is an urgent request as they requested proof of change of address which was sent but they are saying that it has not arrived. A bank statement with my name, address and my bank details lost ..................................

 

A further document sent but now worried if that gets lost as it has my NI number on it along with my address.

 

Purfect for someone to commit ID Theft

I have my claim in at the PO Box 4904 address as per the website

 

They don't realize that I am the claimant as they are stating there is a third party and require a Letter Of Authority.

 

 

Have sent THREE emails to the address given because IF there is a third party this would be fraud by the third party,

called the Citiphone and have got nowhere.

 

 

They have sent a further letter saying they have not received the proof of change of address

and therefore I have a bank statement plus a DWP letter with my NI number floating around.

 

 

All I want to know is have they got it as post ccan take up to 21 days to arrive from the Philippines

 

THREE Emails ... Oct 23rd, Nov 15th, Nov 22nd ... No response

Citiphone cannot deal with PPI and have no access to the claims departmnent

 

I find this quite poor for a multinational company

 

Hence the CEO email address due to my Bank details and NI number floating around.

Still worried about the Fraud / ID aspect though.
