Hi All

I hope you can help.

Received a PCN in post for:

02 parked or loading / unloading in a restricted street where waiting and loading / unloading restrictions are in force.

Davenant Street, E1 at 11:58

My dad had stopped there to check the signs to see whether he could park and when he saw he could not he returned to his car and left.

PCN Images and recording I've obtained timings of:

11:59:02 until 12:00:35

Is there any way this could be appealed at all? I have just noticed the time of the PCN notice sent by post is incorrect (by 1 minute!) Does this make a difference at all?

Thank you

You can try an appeal, explaining the story and hope they are lenient. However, if there is proof he stopped on the lines, then I don't see there's much else you can do. He just isn't allowed to stop there.

Don't think the time discrepancy matters, but someone else might know.

Thanks for your reply. I had told him that - He was hoping they would show some leniancy. I dread him going out of the home... More often than not returns with a PCN, usually for a bus lane contravention!
