Strange Things with Taking Control of Goods: National Standards 2014

Has anyone else noticed the MOJ link to the 'new' National Standards cannot be found on the MOJ site anymore:

Is there a reason for this, or is it just a technical blip?

In fact I had a number of messages myself over the Christmas period about this same subject (I have a website and the link that I had provided to the Taking Control of Goods: National Standards 2014 came up with a '404' error).

 

The link in the 'sticky's on here is also coming up with the same message and so too is the one on LB. Most websites have the same message (National Debtline included).

 

I have emailed MOJ.

I am awaiting a response from MOJ. I am being slightly cautious because the National Standards are going to be updated within the next month or so and will also be endorsed by various organisations to make them more 'binding'. Hopefully more news tomorrow.

I think you will find that all the independent government department websites are being consolidated into a single .gov.uk website - this is stated government policy. Its probably that over the Christmas period they have started to 'pull the plug' on all existing department run websites, expect many more to disappear over the coming weeks.
