This insurance company are a joke. The most dreadful customer service I have ever received.

I took insurance with them as the cover seemed excellent and good value. sadly I was mistaken. I uploaded all requested documents ( which included front and back of both drivers licences) via their website and got a message saying that the documents had been uploaded successfully.

A few days later I got a call saying that they had not been received and to send them again. I now know this is a tactic to get money out of their customers for failing to provide documents. The attitude of the one call representative was shocking and he began to quiz my decision of paying monthly implying that we were not financially secure if we could not afford to pay for the premium up front.

How I choose to pay for the premium is up to me and if I wish to pay monthly it is of no concern of the one call representative. He was very rude and abrupt. I made a mistake when taking out the insurance in that I made myself the policy holder thinking I had no claims bonus from a previous company. sadly as that policy was in my husbands name I was told that the no claims bonus was unacceptable.

I understand this and asked for the name on the policy to be changed. one call said this could not be done and I would have to VOID the policy at a cost of £49. This would effectively erase the policy and I would be free to get insurance elsewhere.

They did suggest that I could contact my previous insurance company to change the name on the no claims bonus- which of course my prev insurer would not do. One call then said that my husband could write a letter to them saying that he gave his no claims bonus to me as a gift. I had never heard of this before and it seems like total nonsense.

I decided to void the policy as previously advised. When I asked for this on the phone, the advisor said that they no longer did this and the company policy had changed (this was just the day after I had been told to void the policy). When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told there were none available.

How convenient. I now was told I had to cancel the policy at a cost of 25 percent of the premium. Such dodgy merchants. cancelled and advise anyone never to take insurance with them.

EVER.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS .
