I cancelled a standing order payment to them over a month ago.

They have still taken money from my account!

Anyone else any experience of them? How can they do this?

I will be contacting them and my bank about this. Just wanted to know if anyone else has had to deal with them.

Hi welcome to CAG,

What are you paying for?

Have you been in contact with your bank about standing order, was it cancelled in writing?

Any Letters I Draft are N0T approved by CAG and no personal liability is accepted.

Hi Brigadier,

The SO was cancelled via internet banking.

I have spoken to my bank and they said that this recent transaction was done using my card/account details. The bank is getting the money back to my account and blocking any further transactions from them.

This was dodgy to say the least.

Thornton Hope said the money was via standing order request? They requested it?

Erm, nope don't think so. I request the bank to pay you and can cancel that request at any time. You do not take the money from my account via request.

The payment was towards a debt that I have with a Credit Union.

So angry just now!

Hi,

Not too sure how far you want to take this and not sure much would happen if you did, you can put in a formal complaint to the CSA.

Regards,

Scott.
