the BBC is doing a consumer rights programme next wednesday at 20.00 on BBC1 about private parking companies.

It is called "your money their tricks" so settle down in front of the box and see what is given a wide public airing. I am looking forward to it.

The website says the program is to be about a nation-wide garage chain that carries out unnecessary work on customers cars - something of interest to another CAG forum.

Now, I wonder who that is

But no mention of Private Parking Contractors.....

Last week's preview did mention private parking. I think it's to do with ANPR cameras "double dipping". In other words, when you visit a car park twice in the same day , the cameras only record the first entry and the last exit.

Was this program actually supposed to be taken seriously ?

I wonder how much it cost to film the sequence about the Parking Charges........ and what did it actually do to make peoples rights clear. What an absolute joke of a program. It's just like Don't get done get Dom only prime time and more expensive to make.

Rather generous to call what Dom presents as a 'programme'. Then again, Cowboy Traders is about as professional as the company sponsoring it.
