The goverment need to help protect ppl from companies like myloan... they took 69.99 from my daughter who is a single parent, working and struggling to make ends meet.

 

The banks are no better as they were no help when she went to them to try and get her money back.

something needs to be done about these companies.. who go ahead and take ppl's money and i dont know what to do, do we talk to our local mp's?

does anyone else have any ideas of what joe public should be doing to stop innocent ppl getting ripped off for hundreds of pounds, please let me know, as i am seething that these companies are getting away with this.

I had one of these do this to me. I phoned thrm and recorded the call. I asked them why they stole my money and why they had refused to refund it. Then i told them the call had been recorded and i would be going to the OFT and the police as it is fraud and theft. Or they could refund the money and no more wud b said. funny enuf they refunded the money straight away. Hope this helps

Sounds like a loan broker that can get you any loan providing you pay them a fee

then they come back with something not suitable and loan never happens

 

But they have had there fee

 

sounds like you will need to write to them and demand your money back

 

would Your bank not do charge back?

What sort of loan was your daughter seeking?

 

Was the application successful i.e. did Myloans complete their part of the contract?

 

Some more detail would be useful I think.
