Is this the company that states that every time a motorist breaks their "rules" then ANPR have to pay the landowner £100 for "breach of contact"? What's even more stupid is that the PPC offers a 50% discount. So according to them , they receive £50 from the motorist and then have to pay £100 to the landowner. I don't think we will be seeing this business idea on Dragon's Den.

set your default scan page size to A4 less than 300DPI [150 will do]

'

BUT......

ENSURE: remove all pers info inc. barcodes etc using paint program

but leave all monetary figures and dates.

Now this is on a Conseravative Club car park.

Wonder what constitutes an authorised visitor. I visited this place a number of years ago and was made very welcome so do I remain and authorised visitor for life?

Ticket Payments - ( http://www.carfines.com )

MAKING A PAYMENT

Payments can now be made safely online:

If the correct colour, make and model appear and the details of the incident are correct you can be assured that the website is genuine and secure.

A payment line is available on 01772-882-999 but this will not handle complaints which should be made in writing. Alternatively you can pay by Cheque or Postal Order made payable to ANPR Ltd., with written on the back: Reference Number, VRM and date of event. Please address the envelope to:

ANPR Ltd.Payments dept.P.O.Box OnePreston PR2 0NFOUR PROCEDURE

A motor vehicle usually has a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) attached to the vehicle for a varied amount of reasons indicated in a unique reference number. The incident if unchallenged is causing distress to both the proprietor and the issuing company, who will record this event by the use of photography. The issuing company is actually employed to prevent this occurrence from taking place and therefore this single event will cause a breach of contract held between the said parties. The issuing company now holds the right to seek £100 Liquidated Damages from the driver via the registered keeper.

Should the issuing company receive a payment of £50 (which equates to 50% discount) within 14 days of the date and time of the event, the details will be removed from our database and the incident will be deemed closed.

After 28 days we have warranted cause to put an application to the DVLA requesting the registered keeper’s details. If obtained an invoice is generated for the full amount as discounts are no longer available. Choosing to ignore this notice and other subsequent notices will only add to the now escalating fees.

We always endorse our procedures and at the very least a county court summons will be issued and pursued by a registered debt collection agency.

60 days after payment is received the vehicle details, photographic evidence and methods of payment are destroyed therefore mistakes cannot be rectified with a refund.

LODGING AN APPEAL

If you believe you have been issued a ticket by mistake and wish to lodge an appeal, please note it must be made in writing with all evidence supporting your case and sent to:

Times are hard!

No discounts now but they appear to have jumped on the Compensation band waggon.

They say they are charging you for solicitors fee's and a court order. Then they say they are selling the debt, then they say they are not responsible for the actions of their sub contractors. Then they say theres a law that says you must pay within 7 days...

Thats just too funny.

And i thought trading standards were removing these rogue traders from this line of business

Can only remove them if they have been reported.

Trading Standards at a minimum. The text is so utterly wrong that good argument could be made for fraud.

Completely agree lamma. That letter MUST go to trading standards ASAP.

This company is owned by a man who threatened to sue the government for "loss of earnings" when the clamping ban came in, and tried to set up a rival to the BPA. Nothing came of either plan.

Also take note of where you are to send your money - "carfines.com". What "fines"?
