My laptop has broken and won't turn on. Now my son spilt some liquid on it yesterday, I was wonder how easy would it be for me to get it fixed by apple. I have applecare on it but have read that apple refuse to fix any laptops that have been damaged by liquid.

Will the sales of goods act help me or am I already fighting a losing battle?

Have you got house insurance? Accidental damage cover.

Most modern electronic products have sensors in them so they will be able tell if a spillage occurred. Best to make an appointment at apple store Genius Bar and go from there,
