In light of the announcement regarding the increase in Small Claims in England, are we likely to see an increase in Scotland or are we going to be disadvantaged and have to go through macol for our "pound of flesh"?

It was 19 years before they raised the limit in Sep 2007 from £750 to £3,000, can't see them raising it in the near future.

Any advice I give is honest and in good faith.:)

Thanks MD, just trying to claim some money back for The Pars, £3k seems such a low amount these days.

Big thanks to Heart's Kick Back Forum and all the best for the final, we are just praying and looking for the white smoke over EEP.

Summary Cause action is £3,000 up to £5,000, it's designed to be quite cheap though there's a risk if you loose you might have to pay your opponent's costs & fees.

I'm really hoping the Pars are ok and they manage to sort something out, worrying times ! I was on Kickback the other week trying to suss out Tickets and Travel for the Final, all sorted now :)

em - apologies for butting in but I was wondering if I would while we were on the subject of small claims in Scotland. I have a stalker who has issued me and some friends with small claims summons. The police area dealing with the criminal side and victim support but this is a civil matter so cant get help with this. What I want to know is where can I get a list showing all the times that this individual has done this to people as its happened a few times - can the sheriff clerk tell me - will the sheriff even be interested or will I have to go through a whole court case - bit scared - he has a solicitor and everything
