Buy As You View Help Please!

I have had an account with Buy As You View since 2007 and have had many issues with them.

Unless you want to confirm your address, it is a bit difficult to contact them. Suggest that you ignore them. This debt is a civil matter and if they want to take you to court, then let them do so.

 

If you wanted to deal with this properly, then you would write making a complaint, that they should not have re-financed the TV that you had almost paid for. If BAYV cannot resolve your complaint within 8 weeks, you can use the FOS.

Further to your points you have raised above, we would like to investigate these thoroughly and we would like to assist you, especially if you are experiencing difficulties meeting your payments.

We would advise that as per the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you are entitled to a 7 day period in which to cancel/ amend your contract. As responsible lenders, we allow a 30 day cancellation period from the date of order (this is noted on your contract).
