Barclaycard PPI Offer Not Right

Hi, I sent off the FOS questionnaire to Barclaycard, I received a letter back with an offer which seems quite low, they are saying its full & final offer and to sign & return if I accept.

Stupidly I didn't send a SAR first.

Can someone advise what to do next?

SAR them and also ask for a detailed breakdown of their offer.

Ok will do, I wasn't sure if I could still do that seeing as I hadn't in the beginning , should I send a separate letter asking for the breakdown or include it in the SAR?

I SAR'ed Barclays for my card and loan. They returned my cheque for £12.00., said it was not necessary. They send me a full and final settlement letter. Meantime I have send them aother cheque and SAR request. I don't feel that I can accept this without getting the full SAR reqest from them. What should I do? How do I know they are telling the truth about the amount involved?

It is not for them to tell you that a SAR is not necessary. If you want your data then the MUST provide it on payment of the £10 fee.

 

Is that a typo that you sent them £12?

I shall write and tell them that I am not prepared to accept their offer until they sent my SAR.
