I had an MBNA debt which has been passed on to Arrow Global / Drydens Fairfax & have been making regular payments since June last year.

Drydens have been a nightmare to deal with,

they are abusive & incompetent to put it mildly.

I have now received yet another threatogram,

this time they have enclosed an income & expenditure form to fill in.

They want proof of income, bank statements & any proof of benefits,

and if I do not return it within 2 weeks, they will consider further action to recover the debt, possibly court action.

Has anyone had any dealings with these people?

and am I leagally bound to return the I&E forms?

tell us about the original debt please

WHY are you paying a DCA...

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Oh yes Fairfax before the amalagamtion with Drydens used to insist that there MUST be a full disclosure of income expenditure, benefits etc and then would claim the xxxx expenditure was above ''court guidlines'' but there was no court order that was nonsence. You have no obligation to provide ant information at all so send the following to the Compliance Manager.

Ref: use theirs.

Sir,

I am in receipt of your recent letter requiring me to complete an income/expenditure statement and to supply personal financial documents, I am sure you are aware that I am under no obligation to supply such private and sensitive data, which can only be demanded by a judge, therefore your request is denied.

You are also aware that a repayment schedule was agreed and in place with the original creditor, the amount agreed will not change, unless current fianancial conditions improve drastically, but thank you for reminding me to check the viability

of the level of my payments, which I now beleive may have to be reduced due to the increase in the cost of living.

Any Letters I Draft are N0T approved by CAG and no personal liability is accepted.

Thanks all,

original debt was MBNA credit card.

I was put on reduced payment by them & made regular payments.

Then out of the blue they sold it to Arrow Global.

Have paid approx £150 since last June, (currently paying £20 per month) to Drydens.

I am slowly payaing off all my debts & will increase payments in order of amunt owed as & when money available.
