Hello all,

This could be the Christmas Bonus I never had!

Can I can send one DPA request letter and just £10 to cover all four of my HSBC accounts, or do they need seperate letters and £40 in payments?

My accounts consist of the following:

Student Account (closed in late 2000)

Current Account (replaced student account and still has big overdraft)

Current Account (created as a 'bills account')

HSBC Mastercard Account

I am planning to send all letters by recorded delivery to:

The Manager

Customer Relations Department

HSBC Bank PLC

Level 36

8 Canada Square

London

E14 5HQ

Any help or advice you can offer is very much appreciated.

Dan

The DPA request is for all information held in your name - so it would cover all accounts. Please ensure you do send the payment with your request, as they are using this as a way to stall - also send it recorded delivery.

Any questions they may have, can be answered whilst the clock is ticking. :)

Thanks Alan,

I am guessing that the 40 day timer starts on the date that the letter was delivered (as confirmed by the post office)? Or do they have to cash the cheque for the clock to start ticking??

Thanks,

Dan
