I might have posted this twice sorry if this is the case as new here smile.png

I know on the 9th ov nov that i will not be able to make the payment due £1200 owed or to extend £260ish neither i can do

so being aware untill i have come up with a payment plan they might grab money from me and they having 3 bank account details of mine

i called them today and asked that they delete 2 of my bank card details from their systems, this they did, i also didnt tell them that at the end of next week i might well be defaulting i just said i only wanted one primary card with them

I left it a hr or so and called back and got i diff person and told him that i might default and asked what card/accounts they would try and take money from, he said he could only see one card account details and that would be the only one they would take money from

hmmm is this true, did they really delete my other two cards details??

also is it also better to wait untill ive defaulted then email them with a payment plan or start as soon as emailing them?

any help would be amazingly good smile.pngsmile.pngsmile.png

From what i can gather they won't entertain a repayment plan until you have defaulted. So you prob have to wait until you default.

As for wonga deleting your cards, hmmm, maybe, but don't take any chances, put it in writing to your bank that they are to put a block on any payments that are requested by wonga, and do it for ALL of your accounts. As your payment date is so near, take the letter to the bank. You need to secure your money, open another account that wonga did not or do not have the details for and have your money go in there.

ok oook slight update, haha phones Lloyds tsb today twice to get the "push payments from these payday lenders off my account and was told no no sir we cant do that, on the third call i mentioned the fsa and how banks must put the customers first and ooooH it seems that was the magic word hehe they promptly put me through to a debit card disputes guy over the phones and bam!! he couldnt be more helpful and cancelled them all yay i also set up a basic account just in case, also gone with a debt management company lol for only 200 pounds per month will wipe out nearly 1 thousand pounds a month i was paying out, anyone with bad debt i would advise a least looking at a debt management company, they do all the work, nothing for you to do simples*

Harrington Brooks are no good, you are wasting your mney, they cannot wipe out nearly £1,000 of debt for a payment of £200 a month, it is not SIMPLES - it is STUPID, they also do not do everything.
. Well. We shall see, its easy to knock every debt company. For me its what i needed to do. I have 5 payday loans i cant poss deal with them all. Ive only heard good things about this company on forum sites. I didnt just select them at random. Im also aware that 200pounds seems low. I will update as the weeks go on

For anyone reading this thread and contemplating using a fee paying Debt Management Company then DON'T. You don't need to.

They can do nothing for you that the free ones can't do and these bold claims about writing off debt are a nonsense.
