Hi,

Can anyone please tell me do this crowd agree to repayment plans? I have a loan of £900 and they are expecting repayment later in the month which I simply cannot afford. I really want to get my life on track again and out of the payday loan existence. What is the best way to approach this? contact them prior to defaulting? email them and ask for a repayment plan? do they usually agree? I am just worried they will hound me at work by calling constantly and add on massive charges. Wonga and Txtloan both have agreed to repayment plans and were quite helpful being honest. Please any assistance would be appreciated in this matter.

Quite Worried :-(

Yes as above staes they do if u look at my quackquack forums it may help re quick quid ,they do payment plans over 4 months but may insist on 3 ,iv got a 4mnth one 2 to go and I'm finishes with them but email them before u default I did that and they agreed but beware big time they may raid ur account like they did with me so cancel ur bank cards as lost for now until u have a payment plan in place in writing from them and good luck

Never got any telephone calls from them - found they can be dealt with all through emails,

Have made D/D payments without problems so far because obtaining their bank details are rarer than the queens jewels! lol! . I see they can be paid by Paypal as an alternative payment method.

Happy to share my experience but for your own protection, please check and double check what myself and other Caggers inform

i am with cccs they have arranged a repayment plan with them over 5 years! Dont think they are happy but changed my number so they have to write to me. If they take me to court the court will look at my dmp - You can only pay what you can afford. I would pay more not trying to get out of debt but due to recession I have been restructured and my pay has been reduced by £5000

hello freeofdebt,

can you share your experience with this lot? have you contacted them yet? how easy were they to deal with and what did they agree to? I will try to suggest a 6month plan - I'm not sure if it will work.

Many thanks!

Hi there :welcome:

They will only do 3/4 months plan as many on here have already found out. My advice would be contact them before default if you can and make your request for a 6 month plan direct at them - they do seem to respond to emails which is something.

Please have a read up of all threads relating to QQ

No worries

I'd send an actual email

support@quickquid.co.uk

or

collections@quickquid.co.uk

received replies back from both so either is valid for a starting point

Whilst their site is very interactive - they are known to remove messages from debtors... so I wouldn't trust this method completely

which is why I would back myself up and by putting it in writing so you can at least print and produce a copy anytime to with a date clearly showing of when you have tried to make contact

Hi,Can anyone please advise I got myself into a terrible mess with PD loans but I have made great progress over the last year and will have them all paid off not long from now. After checking my credit file I have noticed that Quick Quid are marking it as a default every month even though I have an repayment agreement with them and it won't be long until the loan is paid off in full. Has anyone had success stopping them marking defaults on credit file? has anyone had success completley removing their defaults altogether?I find it unbelievable that after paying them well over the orginal loan in rollovers etc. they continually do this :-(

They can't add more than one default for one debt, while you have virtually no chance to get the initial default removed there is no justification for the subsequent defaults, write to the credit reference agencies as well as quick quid asking for them to be removed.

Also report quick quid to the Oft, Fos and Trading Standards for what they did.

I thought it was the initial default that counted, the date on 'default date' in the details. Records then display a D each month till the account is settled/satisfied, theres not an actual new default each month.

I my self have got in to debt with these and found my self not being able to pay. I rang them before default and they were really understanding. I only wanted a 2 month plan but they offered me 4 which gave me good breathing space. they changed my account to reflect this and stuck to it. Freezing interest. they told me they would only do it once in 12 months but I have since deactivated my account with them and don't plan to use them again. its so easy to get in to trouble with these loans.

Hello,

I used the Live Chat service to speak to a lady called Rachelle from collections department. I told her I couldnt pay my loan of 1000 as I had lost my job, been made redundant and have only benefit as an income of 220 a month. ( bs ;) ) We negotiated monthly payments, the lowest I got it to was 56.00 a month and ive been repaying since october 2012.

The only thing is, if you arrange a repayment plan before you default, they only will do 3 split payments...so not ideal but better to wait to default on it to negotiate afterwarrds. The only other thing, is becareful of your credit file. I use noddle.co.uk and they reckon i owe them 1397 but my loan was originally 1000 so im fighting with them to get it corrected.

I have just arranged a 3 month repayment plan for the first portion of my loan (I will default on the second portion too!). They have agreed to 3 seperate payments as per the above. Note though that they do not accept standing orders (no matter how hard I pushed) and no paypal anymore. I have a basic bank account for just this purpose and I am using a debit card to pay them.

So far they have been very easy to deal with. I did ask them in writing not to contact me at work however they ignored this. Fortuantley they used QQ as the company name and left a message to contact them regarding a "business matter" so saved me some embarrassment there!

Yeah they will tell you they dont accept Standing Order but i personally have a direct debit repayment plan with them but also have standing order details which I use to make extra payments where possible. The details I have for standing order have never been returned and have always been confirmed by QQ as credited to my account!

I had a similar problem with quickquid in the past, I had little or no luck over the phone so tried their live chat customer service which proved to be better as you get to rate their performance at the end... maybe worth a try - https://sales.liveperson.net/hc/69445590/?cmd=file&file=visitorWantsToChat&site=69445590&byhref=1&SESSIONVAR%21skill=quickquid-sales-english

good luck!

DOnt use livechat. You have no real evidence of what was said. THats why its much better to go by email or recorded delivery. They cant wriggle out of it then.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

Hi I have JUST paid my final installment on my QuickQuid repayment plan. I just wanted to let people know that I did manage to get everything agreed and set up using the live chat but specifically asked for an email to be sent confirming the plan that had been agreed which they did. I aslo copied and pasted the live chat text to a draft email so I had my own record.

Good luck to those who are trying to get out of the spiral these things can create - I can tell you that I was in despair with pay day loans 6 months ago owing over £2000 to 4 lenders. I am now pleased to say I owe £205 which will be gone this month - NEVER AGAIN!!

There is light at the end of the tunnel you just have to be brave and take the first steps to ask for an interest free repayment plan - it worked for me, good luck!!

Make sure you get written confirmation that the loan has been repaid in full.

Sorry I only suggested the use of the quickquid live chat https://sales.liveperson.net/hc/69445590/?cmd=file&file=visitorWantsToChat&site=69445590&byhref=1&SESSIONVAR%21skill=quickquid-sales-english functionality as that worked for me, i'm sure emailing them will have an impact also, you can keep a record of a live chat discussion though as they will email it to you afterwards.
