Hi I had a business which was a Ltd company but unfortunately it went bust, I ended up with an accountants bill for nearly £1000, I have been paying what I can whemn I can to try and clear this bill, (down to about £900 now)

But my question is with it being a Ltd company am I liable for the debt?

unless the debt was signed personally by you and not the co. and if the accountant was working for the co only then it is a company debt and would payed for out of its assets at being wound up or gone insolvent.

Any debt should therefore be addressed to the administrator.

You would have no pessonal liability for the debt.
