Hi

The debt will fall off your file but a CCJ does not go Statute Barred. What does happen is that after 6 years the creditor would have to go back to court to attempt enforcement. This is rarely given (unless they have very good grounds) as they have had 6 years for this particular bite of the cherry

Hi thanks so when you say its rarely given what factors go into the fact that it might be given then? (enforcement)

It 'might' be given if they can prove to the Judge that you deliberately hid, or simply avoided all their contacts, moved address and dropped off the radar.

Even at this stage they would be very hard pushed to act on it.

What does it relate to?

Who took it to court?

How much is it?

What, if anything, have you received in the past regarding it?

Did you defend this, or was it another 'win by default' ?

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!
