What are your bank doing? as these transactions must have 'cleared' now if are showing - don't leave chargeback the bank will send you a form to sign and return

where you've also got double transactions showing - have the companies said they rolling your loans now as they seem to have debited the amounts?

Surely their in a sticky position if there is no communication but then there's your previous email from Wonga?

The dating stuff I think can also be linked into loan brokers/entering details online to so be careful but you should also be able to challenge, wish I didn't know that but hey ho!

Get rid of that bank account as soon as you can - cause in my experience once brokers have your details they don't stop

BUT keep every statement and details of the account - that's what I'd do someone might say different or know better

Happy to share my experience but for your own protection, please check and double check what myself and other Caggers inform

Agreed. Somethings not quite right here. It sounds like someone has your details and is using it. Get rid of it, and get another.

You also need to start chargebacks with lending stream and PDE, unless you told them they can debit two amounts from your account. You also need to get in touch with the OFT and also get an official complaint in with each PDL so you can notify the FOS and have them investigate.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

Yeah something is defintely suss. Send letter of complaint to all so your covering yourself (even if it is by email) and then wait for final response - as Ren says CC. yourself and you have proof of sendingeven with the bank you can go to the FOS I also had a friend go the CAB and found them helpful because they wrote to the bank for her and were insistant money taken should be returned owning to her vulnerable position even if it was a couple of weeks later, and it was so there is hope for you too x

It does not need to be discussed over the phone at all. Theyre doing it because they can try something and youll have no evidence of it unless you record it.

As stated before i currently am unable to make the payments you require.

By you taking the payments without my authorisation you have only made my situation worse.

As per my previous email if you do not issue a full refund within 3 working days i will envoke a chargeback on these payments.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

that is my reply

Go to your bank. Report the card as stolen. Tell them. under r.55 Payment Services Regs 2009, they are required by law to cancel any and all CPA's on your account.

They can clarify it perfectly fine through email. They dont need to talk to you on the phone to do so.

True quack. However, a creditor should NEVER be contacted by phone unless you have the ability to record the call.

Quackquack, sorry to be a pessimist, but having been on the end of "forgotten calls" in the past, it might be worth e-mailing them confirmation of what was discussed, when and who with. At least that way if the call mysteriously disappears, you'll at least have a record that you e-mailed to Lending stream. Good luck.

renegadeimp's post 34 follows the line that this site has always advocated, and for reasons which are well reported.

Communications should ALWAYS be done in writing, unless there is provision for recording the calls and that logs are included.

quackquack, while the calls may have worked for you, this is not how it pans out in the vast majority of cases, and The CAG needs to be seen to be representing those.

Our stance and guidance on these points should be made clear then,to anyone following these threads.

In writing only, keeping a copy with proof of posting, and demanding a reply in writing.
