Morgan Stanley PPI.... help please.

Hi,

 

While searching through some old paper work i have found some old credit card statements from 2001.

 

They all have PPI payments on and are with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

 

I am after some advice to see if i could make a claim on them ?

 

Any help or advice would be greatly appriciated.

Yes you can claim if it was mis-sold

 

Have you got all of your statements?

 

If so you can complete this spreadsheet

 

FosRunningPPI v101.xls

 

Pop along to the fos website and download a consumer questionnaire and complete it.

 

Send the completed questionnaire and a copy of the spreadsheet together with a brief covering letter to the lender requiring refund.

 

I think it was Barclays that took over the MS cards wasn't it?

Hi

 

I would send a Subject Access Request (SAR) to Barclays (Sub headed MS Card and give the account number). This will get you as much information as they hold on your account, including as many statements as can be provided.

 

There is a template for SAR in the CAG library, the link to which is at the top of every CAG page in green.

 

From the data that comes back it will make it easier to prepare a spreadsheet of claim
