Hi Folks, would appreciate some help. Had a few charges over the years, the whole time was on Income Suport + Incapacity Benefits. In May 2011, I was offically declared bankrupt. Yet, the bank stll continued to charge me failed Direct Debit fees of £35 per time. I wouldn't say it was £1,000's but perhaps £300- ish. I learn from MSE forum that this should not have happened due to financial hardship. I would like to reclaim money back, but not sure how the land lies for such in Scotland. Can I use the templates from MSE or are there specific ones for Scottish banking. This spans approx 11 years - 3 address. I understand that I have to ask for a list of transactions (rather than statements) and provide the £10 statutory fee for such information under the Data Protection.

Any other information would be greatly appreciated!

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
