Hi everyone.

I have put it off long enough and now Im venturing into reclaiming some money back for PPI. However I feel as if it is not going to be straight forward.

Basically I have been trying to find out what loans I have had in the past as I have had a few but never seen them through long term.

I cant recall which ones I took out online, and which over the phone although I know the Natwest one I took out in branch.

So how will I find out which method I took out the Loans, which ones had PPI, and ultimately will it matter if I did take out the loan online or over the phone.

From looking through paperwork and doing a search on Equifax, this seems to be what I can find, so now its just finding out if there is anything I can consider claiming for!!!

FEB 2007 - JAN 2009 - Stlye Finance credit card

MAR 2008 - MAR 2012 - Natwest credit card

JUN 2009 - MAR 2012 - Lloyds TSB credit card

MAR 2004 - DEC 2004 - Alliance and leicester loan

DEC 2004 - JUL 2006 - Alliance and leicester loan

APR 2005 - Unknown - Alliance and leicester loan

APR 2005 - MAY 2006 - Nationwide loan

NOV 2005 - JUN 2006 - Nationwide loan

JUN 2006 - FEB 2009 - Nationwide loan

MAY 2007 - OCT 2007 - Northern Rock loan

FEB 2008 - OCT 2008 - Natwest loan

Any help would be appreciated, have seen the guide on MSE and if I had the one loan over a few years Im sure Id have found it easier to work out, but as my attitude was to change loans and pay them off to suite my circumstances, I'm getting a tad confused.

Cheers,

Mark.

Hi

Your first step would be to SAR each lender. There is a template for SAR in the CAG library, the link to which is at the top of every CAG page in green.

If you have multiple accounts with a lender then you only need one SAR for that lender. Ensure you put in a line that says that the SAR is to include copies of all and any finance agreements you have had with them.

Also ensure that you give your full name and the address(es) you were at when the agreements were taken out and for the duration of them.

You will then need to complete a spreadsheet of claim for each loan/card and a fos questionnaire for each (available as a download from the fos website).

For loans, have a read of No.1 in my signature and do some reading around the PPI forum to get an idea as to what the processes are
