and does anyone know what settlement penalty interest

any help would be nice in how to word a letter

Tam - would suggest doing a search for any posts by dx100 and clicking on the links at the bottom of his posts - will give you some good info.

 

Interest should be 8%

to start a new claim for ppi from welcome

i still have an account with them

is it true that because they are in default

they no longer own this debt i am due

the refund to myself or does it still get

ofset towards my loan as it did in the passed

They will still own the debt.

 

They can use your refund to reduce your balance. But don't forget to also claim for any charges etc. they have addded to your account.

Have you checked out dx100's signature? There is plenty of advice on what you can claim - and the procedures - that can be found by clicking the links in his signature.

 

And yes you can claim 8% on anything to are reclaiming.

after looking through my statement

i noticed a thing called an

insurance premiums which shows as

credit.

 

should this have come of my balance

or is there another reason for this

 

what does it mean

without seeing the statement and how they word their transactions i cannot be 100% sure. But it does sound like it is an amount that should be credited to your account - and therefore have reduced the balance owing. So it should also show the balance going down if it is a genuine credit.

You can add contract interest - which is the rate they are charging you for your loan - or 8% statutory interest. The 8% may be your best option.

 

They have 8 weeks i believe.

PPI should be claimed from Welcome.

They told ny partner verbally when he tried to claim due to being unable to

work due to sickness and they also wrote and said no you have no PPI.

 

They lied !!

 

Today after funding the agreement copy we have it has 2200 PPI on his loan.

it was a shock that they blatantly lied !!

 

So now next step ? What do we do.?
