Quote i havnt told them im unemployed yet, should i do this?In the nicest way lose the shame and don't be put of, please tell PDE about your position of unemployment today it will change things greatly. If on bens you should only be paying token payments of £1.00 pcmbut the sooner they know the better x

Their criteria for accepting payment plans is harsh..

But you have genuine reasons for requesting a payment plan. YES tell them straightaway!! But not by phone! Letter or email.

New bank account us advisable also... They have in the past raided other people's accounts.

So your paying £40 a month ? whilst out of work ?

Hope you can afford to keep up with the payments and not been pushed into something on the pretext something will be waived!

Please get your plan in writing for your own sake - you may need it

Yeah. its going to take me just over a year to pay it back. I dont want to be with them any longer.

If I can pay more at some point I will

plus not wanting to be out of work too long...i have 2 small children who are expensive and none of my plans included becoming a benefit scrounger!

I have my plan in writing, the guy on the phone even checked I had received it!

Kayester - I have every respect for you x what a shining role model you are setting to your children,my parents did exactly the same (albeit not quite the same as PDL debt!) but which has gone some way to see me through the tunnel Please on that letter of yours just make sure you should have agreed repayment amount shown and what the total figure of amount owed is/was God bless : )

Good stuff! :)

I was just about to give up on Payday Express but got a phone call today and they agreed to my £25 per month repayment with no extra interest or charges.

They can be beat :D

That's fantastic news!!!

Maybe they'll be notifying me at some stage today that they'll be accepting my payment plan... I'm not holding my breath though.

But nonetheless! I'm pleased for you :)
