small claims court - Advice required issuing claim

Hi,

I used a reputable caterer for a big party and was not satisfied with the service. I have contacted them and they did offer a small refund but did not respond to a number of my points sent by email. I have resent the email 3 times and think it is time to go further to secure a proper refund. I would like some advice on using the small claims court - what it is likely to cost and procedures. Many thanks. By the way, I successfully helped a friend ignore a private parking ticket thanks to CAG advice and the pursuers seem to have gone away so thanks to all. AJJM

Been to the small claims court myself and believe they are as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
