I have noticed over the last 24 hours that the list of names of Caggers currently online has not changed!! and my name never appears!! Glich in the machine?

i also gave some lengthy advice to someone on a post and the next minute it dissapeared and the post too, and have tried in vane to find the original post, but it has dissapeared into thin air, it was for someone who really needed help after their window had been smashed and paint splashed on their car, and they could not go to work, answer the phone, or leave the house, and i was giving advice to them, another glitch? There are certain points of the day/night when the site refreshes,so can be gliches.

If you go to a users profile it will say when their last activity was,although they may still be showing as online in the menu.

totiesquoties I will see if can see anything as regards your lost post.

It could be that the action did not complete when you hit the reply button.

Can you say what happened ?

it was i felt a very important post, and i had some experience of, and was passing this advice onto the poster, i was concerned about them, and trying to help, but when i had finished my reply and clicked the reply button, everything just dissapeared, and unfortunately i have not been able to locate the post, it was a lenghty reply, and did it get timed out? thanks for all your help totiesquoties.

My guess is that it timed out when you were writing.

Sorry toties, I don't remember. Call it a blond moment to be polite, rather than senior . Have you tried the CAG search tool facility?
