Bones, did you make the removal of the default, a part of the Full and Final offer ?

Hi again , have dug out the letters that sent with the full and final offer,

It says following your correspondance accepting the full and final offer etc please find enclosed a cheque for the fll amount . I request that you and your clients ******* remove any adverse data on my credit files and that the origional creditor provide me with written confirmation that the account is settled, closed, cancelled and that the balance is put as zero £0 .

please ensure that confirmation of the above is sent within 7 days of the cheque payment becoming cleared funds .

So can they leave it on , catch me on a technicality from how i worded the full and final letter ?

thanks x

Basically, Yes... I'm afraid imo the way to do it is to get agreement from the creditor prior to paying anything, that is the only hold you have over them, once you've paid they have no reason to do anything you "request".

Sorry... best you can hope now is to write stating that they accepted your monies under the terms you suggested and to conform to them, i wouldnt hold your breath tho I'm afraid.

S.
