Ok I will draft a letter,

Priorityone - I do remember them saying the repayments must be 5% per month of the balance owing ?

I take it this is where I need to negotiate ?

If you draft up a letter, we'll take a look a the proposals you're making.

:-)

Just had a chat with mercers, I must say they are pretty good to deal with. He did say 5% but then I said

I could only do 2k per month. He said if I can't clear the entire balance by this month then they would look

At that for me, he said there are plenty of options and barclays would not want to loose me :-) ummm wonder

Why ,,,,,

No thanks - apologise for the write off comment I was only kidding this case is totally true. It just goes to show the total lack of procedures in the system - there must be

Thousands of people who take huge sums of cash and then leave the country !!!!!

WTF!!! You've been wasting our time when we could have been helping needier people!!!

"To love unconditionally is the greatest gift, laughter is a close second" .To give your time to help others after being helped here is the best way to show your appreciation to your fellow CAG members.

He seems to have gone.... for now anyway.

Evo... the story you presented was incredulous at best. If you are genuine, then I'm happy to help you. So far, you've preferred to deal with Mercers on the 'phone and found them great. Well... that's excellent then.... what more can we do for you here? It's a straight question. So was asking you to elaborate on how I'd managed to "break the system", if that's what you meant. If you're saying that I've managed to get myself out of tricky situations, then I agree with you.

Is that what you're saying?
