I registered my Brand New Acer Aspire 5552 Laptop online via ACERS WEBSITE.

 

This was OK and showed details of serial numbers etc.

 

This laptop has 3yr warranty as standard, but I could NOT see any confirmation on registration details on website.

 

I called their Customer Services & the lady confirmed this DOES have 3 year warranty, but could not send me proof??

 

I asked for email confirmation to no avail. I asked to speak to a manager.

He asked for Receipt/Proof Of Purchase. I emailed him Invoice that day.

 

Following Day I receive call from Acer stating this has NO WARRANTY AT ALL, because it was purchased via EBAY/RESELLER??

This Laptop was Factory sealed with security Labels etc.

 

I have purchased over 20 Laptops this way over the years WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS.

 

Any Advice would be grateful
