Hi

I know I've said this before - I can't hide the Consumer Forums Menu - no little arrows so I've only got a thin colum of text down the middle of the screen.

Even when I go to the advanced for replying the threads there's no title on the little menu bar at the top. I can click on the dropdowns but they don't do anything - hence still no smilies

I'm using firefox 3.6.10

Ta

Wils

You should have them like this

although that is in Chrome (as it has a brilliant screenshot plugin :-) )

I did check it in FF and it looks the same

The arrows do not appear on on most IE's.

Seems fine on chrome and Firefox etc

edit sometimes the right arrows do not show at top so go down the screen and check

also make sure your bar at the bottom is at the right

Wils, responding to the reported post, the screen prints doc looks sound to me, shows the menu box minus the chevrons.( I realise you've maybe sorted it)

OT, but I don't care: where? ATM, I use snipping tool on W7.

here https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/ckibcdccnfeookdmbahgiakhnjcddpki

When you use it, it takes you to a new page where you can crop and edit it.

Then click share and it will give you a URL.

That URL actually links to a webpage with your image - if you want an inline image in your post then right click the link - copy link address, then when you insert image into your post, paste the URL and add .png on teh end and that will paste the image inline.

Takes *much* longer to type out than to actually do - it is literally about 3 or 4 clicks

Solved it !

Firefox adblocker - I'd switched it on to get rid of those silly ads - but it got rid of all the chevrons smilies and the rest -

Need to find out how to isolate ads from useful stuff!

Wils

Having just looked at your screenshot that was going to be my first suggestion :)

Using ABP you can get a *really* clean page on CAG but I won't say that too loud

Hi,

I have noticed that sometimes using the 'back' key on the keyboard does not return to previous page/image but drops you down into the 'Quick reply' box. This does not happen if you use the 'back arrow' from the IE command line (should be top left, under file).

Also chevrons have a habit of disappearing (the ones that make the screen area wider/narower) - might have something to do with the 'refresh rate'

Is it possible to have the reply number in a darker colour?

Yes, you're right.

We'll see what we can do

Hmmm, I wish it was just that. I think that it is another error! We'll sort it out
