HI all hope I can get some advice

I recently signed up for a new 18 month AOL broadband contract,we already had a talk talk phone line.

A few weeks later we get an automated message saying your new Talk talk broadband service will go live at midnight, after many calls to both parties it was agreed that no charges would be incurred to us because it was Talk talks mistake for siging us up to there broadband service, well at the end of last month because I cancelled the broadband(!) within the 18 months, aol have deducted £220.20p from my account,AOL dont want to know, talk talk said they would merge the accounts and look,It has not been done,I have spent hours on hold, nobody wants to help,I feel Ive been robbed.

Who can I turn to?

Thanks

Graham

Any charge for not completing the contract will be based on your agreement and the duration. Cancel at the beginning, and the charge is a LOT higher than if you cancel near the end.

What did the bill say the charge was for, and how was it broken down?

Hi

Yes the charge was for cancellation of the service which was a a couple of weeks into a new contract, though we never asked for a new service, and talk talk said they were in the wrong, but nobody wants to belive me!
