I think it could be successfully argued that you knew the price at the point of sale, and it was your decision to buy, irrespective of whether it was a good deal or not.

 

i agree wih the point your making, but welcome do make it difficult to understand the true price to their customers.

 

firstly no prices are displayed on the cars when you visit their showroom

 

secondly you are given a weekly or monthly credit limit and shown cars within that range

 

thirdly as welcome include numerouis extras within the cash oprice ie such as gardx suggests welcome customers are not given the information to make an informed decision

 

whilst your image suggest i may be clutching at straws i was merely covering all bases

 

it is clearly evident that this valuation document and others will help to prove welcome have created an unfair relationship[

 

if this dont work then i could always fall back on the fact the original agreement is not signed by welcome

Essexboy - you also forgot to add that they keep pushing and pushing the extras (like PPI etc) until you give in (or in some cases won't allow the agreement to go through without any extras), never do they say that you can get the insurances anywhere else and a lot cheaper.

I know what hassle you have had with these guys and wish you all the luck in your battle

Well the FOS has told them to refund the £299 for GARDX, but haven't heard a peep from them yet.
