hi all need advice desperatly.

so my partner has 2 contract mobiles (one for me one for him) anyway last week he applied for 2 upgrades via mobiles.co.uk they came on friday and to be sure i made him ring orange to confirm they are only upgrades and we wont be paying for 4 contracts the person at orange confirmed this. So we used the mobiles since last friday and today 2 new bills come for 2 new contracts so he rang orange, they say you have to ring mobiles.co.uk he rang them recorded message say email for returns, he emails and reply says they can only accept returns if item hasnt been used.

ok fair enough, so where do we stand?

we upgraded not ordered new contracts yet now we are expected to pay for 4 contracts until the old 2 run out(april)? can anyone help on this matter please as we just dont know what to do frown.gif

What did the Orange CS person actually 'confirm'. For reference, always be suspicious of letting third-parties attempt to upgrade you. The commissions are low to non-existent on upgrades compared to a new connection.

You should also WRITE to Orange to confirm that as the phones supplied were new contracts and NOT upgrades you had to rescind the agreement for them. (You can do this on new contracts, not upgrades).

How did you become aware that the Orange CS staffer misled you (having 4 contracts instead of the 2 expected?
