Just thought some people may be interested in this. Microsoft have Office 2010 in beta phase, and it's free to download. All you need is your Windows Live ID, then you'll be given a serial number, and you're good to go!

Cool..Gonna give it a test drive now, wonder if its time limited (like Windows 7 was) ?. Cant see any mention of expiry date.

Well, it is in beta, so you have to be prepared for a bug or two, that's the whole idea of being in a beta test.

If you do choose to try this beta out, and no reason why not, there is an option on your task bar to send a smilie to microsoft. A happy one and a sad one, and you can leave a comment about what you have found, whether you love it, or it's a bug. I always try and get myself involved with beta's, as it gives you a free program to try out, and chances are, you get to a new licence off them for beta testing, or a big discount.
