oo mrjoolz highly honoured to receive a response to CCA request!

I am a consumer just like you, please get a second opinion or investigate yourself on anything I advise as I am in no way legally trained. Everything I know has come from the Mighty CAG and fellow CAGGERS.

I also got similar response from my SAR but when the SAR information finally arrived, there was no statement of account in it, so it wasnt complete.

I asked for statement of account on phone over two weeks ago, and never got it. But did get a bloody offer letter.

doubt it, I'm sure some other institution will buy the debt off them for a substantially reduced price and continue to chase.

just a shame they dont know the full extent of Welcomes negligence and other mal-practice when drawing up the loan agreements.

Welcome have been phoning me recently about my loan (which is in good order).

Apparently if I double the payments, I'll be able to pay it off more quickly!

Or, I could 'get a bank loan to pay the balance off, because our rates aren't the cheapest, you know......'

Or I could even 'take out one of these 0% credit cards, put the balance on that'

Now honestly Mr Welcome... if the banks and the credit card sharks were falling over themselves to offer me great deals like this, do you really think I would have had to get the loan from you in the first place? Really?

Double the payments...Very funny. Don't you know there's a credit crunch on?;-);-);-):p

heh heh, what makes me laugh is how the hell do they expect people on very little income, or have financial difficulty (hence why they leant to them in the first place) to be able to increase there payments?

seems these guys do not operate in the real world.

Hi Post if you there,

I wrote a CCA request letter and sent to Welcome on 3rd December 2009. I received a letter acknowledging receipt of it along with £1.00 PO.

However its now the 15th and still nothing.

Can I send letter before action, and put account in dispute ?

What do I do now ?

Thanks.... any other one able to help ?

Hi Post, found my thread

I want to place my account into dispute, and need to do ASAP. I have asked for SAR which was incomplete, and you told me it was a 2004 agreement form, which they sent me, but I took out loan in 2007. Also my CCA sent on the 1st December which they have acknowledged receipt of still hasnt been actioned.

So can I put into dispute now ? Do you have a letter ?

thanks
