Going for small amounts

My first claim is in motion now, my second one is GE capital / First National, but its only for £110.

 

I was thinking about this and if I issue a claim and they defend, they would have to send someone about 100 miles to my local court, then 100 miles back, plus whatever time preparing they're (very weak) case.

 

Assuming even if they did think they could win it, it hardly seems worth it, it would cost more in fuel and a mans time for the day. Why bother.

Very true. One of the excuses many banks make for not defending in court is that it is not economically viable.
