Hi there, ive had a little look around and i can't find an answer to my question regarding this so i am hoping someone out there can help me.

This morning i received a letter from AA car insurance who have just decided to give me a Fee of £20 because my last months payment bounced because i had to cancel the direct debit at the bank as i am having a few issues with them. Is this Fee of £20 unlawful the same as the bank charges and can i ask for the money back? if so can i use the same letter template for the bank etc. Sorry for all the questions, i am confused by alot of this :|

Any help would be really appreciate....if all these banks/insurance folk take all this money its only going to lead to more charges as i dont have the money to pay it all.....

Thanks for listening

Lisa

yes, they are unlawful. Follow steps as for banks, just tweaking the words!

Abbey - owed £3260 - Paid up.

Barclays owed £2500 - Paid up.

Halifax, Mint & Egg - next on the hit list

Dont click on the scales - I'm quite proud of my little red dot! - As the little red dot has gone - click away!!!!
