Last summer i got hit for around £400 worth of charges accoss June & July

i am a student so i dont earn alot and any money i got was instanly swallowed up to pay for the overdraft

because of this i was unable to pay egg for 3 months and they defaulted the account

i know its not eggs fault i got charged by NatWest and was not able to pay

is there anything i can do to get the default removed

the egg account and been paid off

thanks

I'd be interested in any responses to this - as the exact same thing is happening to me with Natwest banging £800 quid of charges on within just 2 months!

Can we hold the banks fully or wholly responsible for such defaults?

08/08/06 - SENT Data Protection Act S.A.R - (Subject Access Request)

17/08/06 - DEFAULT NOTICE RECEIVED FROM NatWest

18/08/06 - Data Protection Act ACKNOWLEDGED, SIGNATURE REQUESTED

21/08/06 - Spoke to Natwest. Default will not be applied if i get back into my agreed limit (over by £184) by Sep end. Thanks for a weeked of unneccessary worry Natwest.

01/08/06 - Received copy statements. Damaged in post. Charged £5 in addition to £10 Postal order
