Hi All,

 

I sent off my letter and my £10 a few days ago, but since then I have found most of my statements, apart from the year 2000, and I know my account was ok then anyway.

 

My question is, as I have my statements now, can I go straight in with the prelim ketter requesting they pay back my money ? I am not going to claim the debit interest, just the overdraft and bounced cheque etc fees ?

 

If i do find out that i was charged in 2000 then I could always do another claim couldnt i.

Yes you can.

 

You only need to bother with the Subject Access Request if you dont know how much they have taken.

I think i may hand deliver it to the manager

wouldnt mind seeing her face. She sent me an initial "sod off" letter when i first applied for my list of charges.

 

i hadnt even asked for my money back then......!!

What do you know, the statements came within 10days of posying my request, so I have totted it up and we are owed £1001.00 exactly.

 

I have done the prelim, and will post it through the door tonight so the manager will have it first thing in the morning.

Hi guys, faxed over and posted my prelim letter today, with my 14 days deadline. If i receive a "sod off" letter before the 14 days are up, can I then move onto the LBA ? I dont have to wait till the 14 is up do i ?

 

also, I have noticed some people put a narative under there posts, stating the claims they are making and the progress, how do i do that ?

Go into 'User CP'. it's on the blue bar at the top of the forum.

You'll see 'edit signature' under Control panel setting and options on the left under the blue bar.

Click on 'edit signature' and type whatever you want. You can have different fonts and colours if you like, you can even add hyperlinks.

Don't forget to use the preview feature, and have a play around with it until you get what you like.

can anybody confirm for me - if i get the sod off letter from yorkshire before the 14 days expire, can i progress to the next stage or do i still have to wait for the 14 days to complete before the next step ?

Once you get their 'sod off' letter then yes you can continue to the next step
