14 days is correct not sure why you state its the 'old' 14 days?

it says in the sticky

(a) in the case of a penalty charge notice served by virtue of regulation 10(1)(a) (on the basis of a record produced by an approved device), the last day of the period of 21 days beginning with the date on which the notice was served;

could you enlighten me a bit more mate, whats 'virtue of reg 10(1)(a)'

I heard somewhere you now have 21 days to appeal and keep the reduction if postal and by an aproved device. This ticket seems to fit the criterea.

Bus Lanes are not enforced (in London anyway) using the TMA 2004 they use the London Local Authority acts. Information regarding the procedure can be found on the PATAS site.

Section 10 is from 'The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (England) General Regulations 2007' so unless you actually 'parked' in the bus lane it won't cover your PCN.

Thanx matey new it was there somewhere.

BTW is there a rule by which if you drive in a bus lane for a small distance you will generally be ok ( 20 meters isnt it, a bit like de minimus in reverse!!)icon7.gif

No, I think you are confusing it with entering the bus lane before you get to a left hand turning.
