Hi guys,

I took out a £20,000 loan from natwest in Nov 06 and only found out 2 months ago that PPI was added to loan without my consent. I sent a SAR and have received statements regarding the a/c but not all information as requested.

In statements they show Principal Pay and Interest for the monthly premium which totals £404.26. They have withdrawn the PPI element from loan and my payments have reduced to £334.19.

Not only do I want to claim the extra £70.07 I have paid for over 15 months, but would like to add interest to this.

I know HHNF has hit them where it hurts and made them cough up, but would like to know how i calculate the interest I can claim from the PPI just as HHNF did.

Are tips, ideas?

HHNF are you there?:-) :-) :-)

Hello charlie,

You are correct with HHNF being the star on percentages, interest, etc,

I have some links that may help you to work out what interest is due to you on the PPI.

Bank charge successes:

Halifax - Full settlement incl interest.

HSBC - Settlement, goodwill no admission of liability about 75% of claim.

RBS - Settlement, goodwill no admission of liability about 70% of claim.

2 ongoing claims for bank charges with HSBC with more to come. (Supreme Court ruling could have upset these claims) They did

PPI Successes

PPI 4 settlements on 9 loans. FOS involvement on 7 added on the 8 % Statutory interest another 30% to both.

2 claims settled in full with LV without FOS involvement.

2 claims settled in full with HSBC without FOS involvement

PPI Claims ongoing with:

Cap one Now with the FOS

Barclays. Paid up today 24/04/10 cheque received for over £4,500 and in the bank.

LTSB still have to decide on this as their SAR production was abysmal. Papers data mixed up documents missing etc

1 Complaint not upheld by FOS they said it was ICO issue. Complaint upheld by ICO. See this..

Please do not PM me for advice as it may be sometime before I can respond.

Keep at them. Do not give way and do not accept all they tell you, they will delay and stall for as long as they can to prevent repaying you your mis-sold PPI.
