I was tryin to sell my house, mortgage @ 160k, was sellin for 150k, mate was helpin me put the rest towards it.

Now a car finance company took me to court and attached an order for 14k to the property. Can i still sell, there is no equity to pay them..

Where do i go from here? Have not got the extra 14k they need...

Charges claim nearly sorted, now taking on anything thats left..

I was looking through the Judgements Enforcement (Northern Ireland) Order 1981 to try to find an answer to this but it doesn't really provide any direction on your situation as far as I can see. You may wish to contact The Law Society of Northern Ireland here who may be able to give you some free qualified advice on your situation. Alternatively there is the NI CAB here If dealing with CAB just make sure that you are speaking to a qualified debt advisor.

HAVE YOU BEEN TREATED UNFAIRLY BY CREDITORS OR DCA's?

BEWARE OF CLAIMS MANAGEMENT COMPANIES OFFERING TO WRITE OFF YOUR DEBTS.

Please note opinions given by rory32 are offered informally as a lay-person in good faith based on personal experience. For legal advice, you must always consult a registered and insured lawyer.
