yes that is sarcasm.

 

Ok I admit, I was a little late in paying my mobile bill this month, however that was due to moving home and finding that 95% of my months wage went into deposit and moving costs - anyway enough of that.

 

As a result, my phone was barred, fair enough as I didn't pay the bill on time. I paid the bill this morning, and the money has gone out of my account. Orange have not lifted the bar.

I called them up on the number, given on the website as they barred all calls to their customer services and bill paying numbers - now that is intelligent of them isn't it. They said that the bar had been lifted but this little voice keeps telling me :

 

"sorry, calls from this number are barred"

 

wouldn't be a problem if the little voice wasn't coming from the earpiece of my phone.

 

Anyone else had this problem and if so, how long did it take for Orange to sort out.

Once in my experience, because I sent a cheque, 3 days, you have to call and beg from a landline, not fun.

in my experience it takes 24-48 hours for the bar to lift you'll get a text when it does

Hi

If you paid on the 150 automated system then it processes through the system within 24 hours.

A call into CS from a landline or another orange mobile, once the payment has been verified will enable a csr to remove the bar manually. it usually lifts then within the hour.

 

If you paid on the website, it can take up to 5 days (as is advised on the web) for that payment to reach Orange, even though it shows as being deducted from your bank there and then - this is the same for any over the counter or web payment for ANY company or service provider!!!

 

personally hate paying my bills that way - i dont have the money, the company i am paying dont have my money, so who the heck has it and earning interest on it?!!!!?
