Got all my statements back on a current account from 1985ish to 1994 ish (off the top of my head). This is with the Yorkshire Bank. I haven't been following things on here for a while and wondered where we are with reclaiming charges over 6 years old. It seemed to go quiet. With contractual interest applied to the charges we are talkin a claim for a really nice new car here, which wouldn't come out of the small claims court......

Can anybody update please?.....

Thanks

Thanks Maroon Devo and AC2007!!! Much appreciated...Good luck to ya in your quest for justice...

It just seems to have gone really quiet on here about going back more than 6 years, yet in April last Year everyone was jumping up and down on here. What's been happening since I've been sleeping guys and gals???!!!

There is a test case going on between the OFT and 8 banks, including Clydesdale. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/general/113391-oft-banks-documentation.html

There are a lot of stickies in this forum that you should read including this. http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/yorkshire-bank-clydesdale-bank/76009-yorkshire-bank-limitation-act.html

Thankyou Caro. Yes I'm aware of the case which could go on till next year looking on the bleak side...

So what are people doing in general? Not claiming and waiting for the outcome? Sorry, I've been off here a while and not sure what people are doing in general....

Best wishes

I heard from someone that the Banks may ask for a limitation on how far back you can claim, if they lost the 'Test Case'. How on earth they could do this is beyond me.
