  1. Anyone had any problems with fuel from tesco? Apparently i am the 4th person to breakdown and also had purchased my fuel from tesco. Awaiting correct diagnosis until i write complaint! Just wondering if anyone else has had problems.
  2. Just looking for some advice. On Saturday I filled up at Asda using the Pay at Pump, filled up with diesel costing around £57. Prior to filling up we had around 80 miles left in the tank. Afterdriving to a few places my husband began our 30 mile drive home from my parents. While driving the car became sluggish, no power and wouldn't go above 60mph. I called our dealer on Monday and it was booked in for checks. Apart from a leak on the water pump all seemed OK with car but they said they suspected fuel contamination. I called Asda and was read a brief over the phone and was told there had been no other complaints about the fuel and that there was no way to prove contaminated fuel. I have had to now pay £324 to the garage for a tank drain, clean fuel line and a new fuel filter. I have contacted consumer direct who have informed trading standards. I have been advised to write to Asda where i filled up and Asda Head Office. So far I'm out of pocket by around £380 inc the lost diesel. Does anyome know what I can do or do I just leave it and take the hit. Many Thanks
  3. Car in the garage, certain Unleaded put in but garage smells faint diesel. Anyone else had problems with Tesco Talbot Green this week?
