  1. the credit score can be meaningless. its all down to what type of customer the lender is looking for. you can get a score over 900 by having your credit cards maxed for the last six months. but because you maintained payments its looks good. but the lenders criteria can but you at a high risk and the same goes if you got credit cards and clear them every month. a lender wants to make money.
  2. could try speaking to the claimant and explain what happened. worth a try and they might withdraw the warrant if you come to an agreement.
  3. you could have living on mars and the in question was exported two years ago to japan at the time of the alleged parking. your appeal would have still been rejected
  4. been accepted for a Barclaycard 0% interest. a bit new to this. i cant find anything to say that if you havent cleared it by the end of the 0% period. interest is back dated to the date of balance transfer is this true i found this site http://jmjohta.online-review.net/credit/31637.php
  5. if it says for life then there is no reassessment. unless you inform the of any changes in your condition
  6. remember this is a private company not council charge. under the freedoms act they can take the registered keeper to court. but rarely do. but when they do. its normally a vulnerable person they hope win by default. any sign your going to put up a fight and they back off.
  7. when i left Eon they was just bringing in data sharing. the email arrived while i was a customer but by 28 days notice to accept or leave. i had left. i didn't realise that the email contained this. when i complained they produced the email. but i explained i didn't agree to sharing data because i had left within the 28 days i left Eon for a better deal
  8. it worked for me with Eon. but it depends if you left before they changed the terms and conditions. they tried to get out of it by saying that an email had been sneakily sent. and in the small print it stated a change in the terms and conditions and giving notice to move to another supplier if i didn't agree. the email they produced just looked like a flyer. but it didnt matter cos i had switched before then anyway Dear Mr xxxxxx As reported to you, we are in the process of amending our Equifax report in relation to the 6 pts lodged on your record. This will take up to 7 days to remove, but you have our assurance that this will be completed. I trust that this move meets with your satisfaction, and apologise for any inconvenience caused . Kind Regards
  9. had one about 6 months ago on this car park. its not a pcn. its an invoice. i sent the the template letter found on this site to them and that was the last i heard

  12. he had a letter from marstons about a month ago. i passed that onto him and he called them asking if they got the right person as he has never been to court in his lifetime. they said they dont know what the fine is for. but will ask the Magistrates court for more information .. then this appears. apparently in 2007 he boarded the train with the ticket for the previous train because he missed it. he give this address as it was where he was living and that is the last he heard from it. he has no problem paying it but concerned that they may enter a judgement on the register and the fact the envelope had been sent unsealed for anyone wanting to read it and the fact he was never told of a hearing

  16. thanks brassnecked. i know you give sound advice. but i,m looking for examples of when the bailiff h warrant as returned the debtor has had a bad time
  17. sorry i should have been a bit clearer. i'm assuming the bailiff has given up because no one will respond or open the door when its returned by the bailiff. its reviewed for the reasons given unless there is a realistic outcome of it been paid. it will be wrote off options are pay i think £110 for attachment of earnings. how they gonna serve it. unless they know were you work. may get away with a judges order to post it through the letterbox on n61 and n63. but it will never get to a n118. unless its been served personally. issue a warrant of control with a court bailiff cost i think £110. if a private bailiff can not execute it. what difference would a court bailiff do. issue an order for questioning. again another cost and how they going to serve it i know of seven people who have done similar and the last one was the council tax payer and tried to work with the council who refused and just referred to contact the bailiff. she ignored him and hid the car because the bailiffs bill was £700. after it expired she phoned the council and they told her that they had wrote it off. she was told it was standard practice to write it off
  18. i think the clue is that the postman brings it posted as a letter. not a guy in a van
  19. DFS have a bad reputation for sorting complaints out. head offices approach is the store managers offer is final. write in your letter of complaint to head office and when they tell you sorry but thats all thats on offer. open a case with the furniture ombudsman. you argument will be under the SOGA that you ordered black. if the salesman called it black then you got a case. questions will be. did you see one on display and was it black. did you choice one out of the book. if yes did it look black. doubt the finance company will find it in your favour
