  1. "Caught Inthemire" sounds more appropriate for the CSA's spokesman.
  2. Re. Mark Todd/Hansard/Beryl Brazier: House of Commons Hansard Debates for 18 Dec 2007 (pt 0020)
  3. Yes, person who 'actually works for a finance company...' You are indeed the spawn of satan. But there's an easy cure. Stop doing the job, stop kidding yourself.
  4. Mark Todd - Home Good man. I will try to find the Hansard notes on on his question in the House of Commons re. poor Mrs Brazier.
  5. BBC: BBC NEWS | Politics | Milburn to stand down at election (and is on the European Advisory Panel of Bridgepoint, backers of 1st Credit (http://www.bridgepoint.eu/our-team-values/european-advisory-committee)
  6. Hey diddy (sounds like a song!) Check my threads for one about going to the police - it has now been through my MP and is currently with the FOS. I'd say now bare your bum at burtons, but that also sounds like a song title!
  7. I and a lot of other CAGgers would disagree with you on that point.
  8. Couple of things: If anyone new to the site is concerned about another poster, check their profile. It's worth noting the number of threads they've started, for example. We all have to make our own judgements, 2nd thing: CAG heros. The ones that make me laugh at some ungodly hour when I feel I want to bang my head on a brick wall... They're mine. Diskmandave, for example - and many, many others.
  9. .. Last 3 posts, Rhia, ODC and Mr Ton - completely agree! xx
  10. Well I'm part of 'everybody else' here and I DO actually hate DCAs. I think this forum has a fair cross-section of views, and it works because it helps 'lighten the load' for people who are desperate (and I mean desperate) for help - not merely through advice, but also by instilling the feeling that when DCAs appear, you don't just roll over and let yourself be terrorised by them. I think Diddydicky most people here do actually hate DCAs. With very good reason.
  11. Agree with CB. Please someone write the letter! xx
  12. Idea for those who don't feel able to phone/write: A few months ago someone here did a brilliant poster for CAG, A4 size. Get the poster, print it out, and on 24th June take it to your local paper shop/post office and ask to put it in the window as a personal advert. It doesn't cost much - about a pound?
  13. Please somebody explain Spartacus!! I am easily confused you know
  14. Gosh I don't know but that sounds illegal to me. So the unnamed 'debt buyer' spokesman is saying that members of a supposedly responsible and 'apparently' respectable association of DCAs has said publicly that they'll be silently suing tens of thousands of people - On a supposition that they might owe some money that said DCAs bought for a couple of quid? Thanks for putting it on the record Credit Today. We should all nip over there and print the article out, just in case they decide to edit it ... here's the link: Credit Today online
  15. YES. It is and yes.. Great idea Mr T and poo poo to the hoo hah kraken.
  16. I thought Sara dT's name rang a bell. Here she is in new appointment (Dec '08): CSA strengthens Board with key appointments and look here: Tragic (G E and Westcot Credit) Really good 'impartial' article there by Cr. Today - again!
  17. The Office of Fair Trading: OFT warns debt sector about tracing tactics Report them!
  18. sosumi logs in, waves, then logs out to eat soup. (sorry about your loss UK) hugs to everyone xx
  19. I wonder if he's keeping his post as advisor to Credit Today? Thinking about it, he's had to make some pretty embarrassing excuses for members of CSA 'to the media'. - Maybe his conscience is getting the better of him? Bless ;)
