  1. Count me in my complaint will be on its way on Monday. These vultures should be locked up I for one will never stop fighting them I have had them to the FOS three times already and ready to go again. My mental and physical health has deteriorated because of there constant harassment and threats of repossession. Even though i have an arrangement and have never missed a payment they are constantly on my back for more money new arrangements budget sheets and they still charge me £70 a month. It is a disgrace that nothing is done about these bas---ds.
  2. As some of you will know I have put many posts on Cag since 2007 about SPPL/Capstone/ Eurosail/Acenden as I took out a loan with SPPL in 2006. However in 2012 SPPL went into liquidation and my lian was transferred to Eurosail. So you can imagine my suprise when a field agent for Acenden popped a letter through my door from a company called EXCEL asking me to contact them to discuss my proposals to repay the arrears on my loan to southern pacific personal loans as they were acting on their behalf. Now i am confused how can this company be acting on behalf of a company that has gone into liquidation that has no directors. And what the hell has happened to EUROSAIL. Has anyone got any suggestions to what i should do about this thankyou
  3. I think we can all agree then that call centres and automated call answering does not work well for the advisors or the customers. A good example today of how talktalk won't talk. I have an outstanding balance of £37 due on the 22nd of september, these are advance charges for october bill, however they have restricted my service until i pay up for something i haven't used yet, and i can't use because my service is restricted. Therefore i phoned them today to ask why? And get the automated service on all numbers i try which says you have an outstanding amount of £37 your service will be restricted until you pay this amount. To pay press 1 to hear your balance again press 2 if you have finished please hang up not even an option to speak to an advisor. Wtf?? Talk talk refuse to talk me thinks!! And they know there is absolutely swet FA u can do about it so if i wont service i have to pay up no discussion. Like i say there is no wonder people are so agressive these days this has left me very angry and frustrated. So do i calm down or take it out on my children or husband? obvs not but how easy is it for it all to build up and that to happen?
  4. Hi i hope someone can help me with a question regadibg time limits on payment of bills for services like talktalk. I wanted to know how long do you have to pay your bill once the due date has passed before they restrict your services thankyou cher69
  5. Hi i hope you dont think i am ignoring you i just dont have a pc at the moment to enable me to cange the above docs but as soon as i have i will do it thankyou cher69
  6. Totally agree coniff got a bit carried away and did it on my phone which is a nightmare was going to sort iy but my phone died lol will go do it now thanku for reminding me cher69 x
  7. I May sound like an old grump but I think that technology is to blame and companies thinking they could save money by opening these call centres and to save even more money by opening them in other countries were people work for less wages like in india have really back fired on them. I know for a fact from experience workinv in a BT call centre that the advisors dont get trained properly. I got two weeks training and a manual to look things up and you were expected to find your own answers not ask the team leader every five minutes also you had targets to reach so you were supposed to answer the call correctly and efficiently and enter all info on computer as you spoke to the customer (paperless office) no pens nightmare! so the next advisor could see the history. But it never worked that way. I woild get so frustrated at other advisors either fobbing people off or cutting them off becauae they didnt know the answers. Then i would get the customer screaming at me and me having to waste time trying to calm them taking all the details again because the previous advisor had not logged the conversation therefore and you had no idea which advisor they had spoken to sort their problem. All this was just frustrating and annoying for the customer and the same for the advisors who did try to help the customers. The worst part was that advisors like me and a few others were the exception to the rule. (Not everyone took the BT provisioning manual home with them for a bit of bedtime reading lol!)But you didnt get any thanks for it all they were bothered about was the speed in which you dealt with the call. NOT how well you dealt with the customers problem. I don't know if things have changed that was a few years ago now but to be honest from what i have experienced i dont think they have in fact i think its got worse. I dont think advisors are encouraged to use their own initiative anymore it feels like they just rely on the manual these days and read the answer from the book, i am saying that because how many times do you get an advisor repeating themselves word for word over and over again? Then in frustration you just agree and put the phone down then try again tomorrow hoping u get someone more helpful. You cant speak to a supervisor anymore they reckon they dont have them. Ypu get the team leader if your lucky however he or she is always busy and you get the cocky advisor telling you it will make no difference speaking to them because they will only say the same thing. Is there any wonder nobody smiles at anyone in the street any more and everyone is so bad tempered its because the problem is not just in the call centres but every were you go these days employees are so inefficient and most couldn't care less. Years ago problems got sorted out quickly and politely these days the whole country is in a mess? Sorry that was a bit long
  8. hi sorry it took so long to post up i just hope i did it right this is the letter i received from ge money . thank you cher69
  9. Haha you guys just made me giggle n yes i have tried the tactic of being really really really nice and all that but 9 times out of 10 they say something patronising or really illogical that makes me turn into the devil woman lol . Also yes i agree with you on the english issue and i don't want anyone jumping to conclusions thinking i am racist because i am not. What i mean is that if you work in a call centre or any job that involves communicating over the telephone you should be able to speak clear good english and that means if you are welsh, scottish, scouse, geordie, irish, yorkshire, whatever if you have a strong accent then dont be suprised when people dont understand a word you are saying. only last week i got a lovely man with a geordie accent and i couldn' t understand him in the end he asked if i wanted to speak to someone else someone english and i said yes because we were getting nowhere fast lol
  10. Just want to rant about the majority of advisers at call centres round the country and how these days you just cant talk to these people. They sound like they are reading their responses from a book which is probably what most are doing.if you are asking for help with an outstanding debt you have their options not yours. They are not human any more unable to empathise so they may as well get rid of the advisers and make it automated like everything else. You know keep it simple. Press 1 if you owe us money press 2 if u want to make payment in full press 3 if u cant make a payment. If u cant make payment tough we don't want to know see you in court.
  11. Hi there just wondere if you got this sorted out as i am in a similar position myself thank you
  12. Thank you oldrouge sorry for the delay i will post them up asap!.kind regards cher69
  13. Just to add ge money stated this was their final decision and to take it to the ombudsman they dont even want to discuss it no suprise there though .
  14. Hi there i got ge moneys response today and to be honest it was what i expected they sent me a letter about 5 pages long including a copy of the agreement I signed which wasnt an issue i know i signed it. However they state there is nothing they can do and have forwarded a copy of my letter to the broker. Ge money will not extend the loan term their reasoning is because it is a management decision not to do so. So there we go not much help. What next is there anything i can do ?? Cher69
  15. Hi the oldrouge thankyou for your reply i am 47 my husband is 52. I was going to write to ge money today and ask them to extend it but i dint hold out much hope as they are not one of the best lenders to deal with. The second charge is until 2020. Thanku again cher69
  16. Hi everyone i am back again for support and advice on an issue that i can not think of any way to solve. I made a bad choice in 2002 and opted for an interest only mortgage because it was quick cheaper payments and i had the intention of swapping to a repayment mortgage as soon as i could. However money i was owed by my sister was never received and i became ill in 2006 and ended up in arrears with this company. It went to the FOS who agreed with me they had been unfair and had not shown forbearance their fees and charges were refunded and arrears remaining original arrears capitalised and suspended repossession order removed. This was the one time that i am aware of that the FOS actually made a company comply completely with their requests. I have been paying in full on time ever since. 2006. Then last year i got a letter from ge money stating my term was up in 2015. I got the shock of my life because i thought it was up in 2020. I had arranged my morthage through a broker and this was the third time i had remortgaged with this company and the other times the mortgage term was for 15 years so i stupidly presumed this one was 15 years also. I remember my broker saying did i want it over the same term and i said yes so i dont know why this one is only over 10 unless the broker made a mistake. However i am in a situation now with no money to pay off the mortgage next year and ge money saying tough u signed the agreement. I was wondering if there was anything i could do because the extra five years would allow me to stay in my home and i would have the money to pay it off then. It just seems so unfairi i have a mental illness and couldnt cope with having to sell the house i am so tired of all the fighting with these companies as i am with the other demon too acenden and am on the 4th complaint to the ombudsman with them. I was so naive ten years ago. I thought companies were fair amnd if you were honest with them and genuine they would bend the rules a bit to suit individual circumstancres like they used to back in the day when you dealt with a manager face to face. I feel like giving up i dont have any more strength left in me to fight. Its just making my ilness worse and on top of that i have suddenly developed a problem with my legs that keep giving way and have been yold it could be cauda eguima which is serious and if left untreated could cause me to become inconyenant and never walk again. I am beside myself i just wish i had a magic hand come out of the cloudsto help lift all this worry from me i usedto be so confident and sure of myself but i just dont know were to start anymore or even if i should bother anymore as all these companies seem to win in the end . I have just had enough thankyou for taking the time to read this i know its long but had to give it one last go in hope of a miracle cher69.x
  17. Yes they are and I have found out some really concerning underhand activity within the job centres regarding who they target to sanction even if the claimant has done nothing wrong . Its disgusting they did it to my daughter said she never attended her sign on so she was sanctioned and got no money for a month she disputed this and found someone who spoke to her that day she was supposed to sign and got her money in the end but it was a battle it shoukdnt be like this not every young person wants to claim jobseekers my daughter hates it and cant wait to get a full time job shes a hard worker and it really ****es me off when the young and eager get treated like this because of a government who wants to muslesd the public it stinks
  18. Hi Nicole I just wanted to say my heart goes out to you and your family and I can totaly understand you feeling like giving up. I have been in a similar situation with this lot since 2007 and had a suspended repo hanging over me since 2008 I have taken them to the FOS twice and had some results. All I can say is please take your complaint to the FOS and do it now while you are still in your home dont let them get off scotfree without any recourse whatsoever you have suffered and deserve to be compensated for what they have put you through. Trust me I know what I am talking about and I know that feeling because it is how I have been feeling recently and I am about to start a new thread because I am in the process of replying to the ombudsmans final decision and need advice. I hope you find the strength for one last push at these vultures just to have the satisfaction that all the years you have battled against this company you get some kind of compensation. Take care of yourselfand good luck for the future kind regards cher69
  19. Hi i hope someone can help because i dont have the first clue about traineeships and the government courses etc. But my daughter and her friend are being treated so badly by their employer that i am sure that it can not be legal what this woman is doing to these young people. First of all my daughter is a fully qualified beautician and is 19 and left college last year. She came across a shop that was opening and they wanted a beautician and she applied and got the job. My daughter like a lot of young people these days was so made up she got the job she never asked the woman what she got paid and there was no mention of any trainee scheme or apprenticeship she was just told to come in on the following monday, which she did. When her boss came in she asked her if she could have a word in private. This is when she dropped the bomb shell that she wouldnt be getting paid for 6 weeks, and she would only be doing sixteen hours and the reason the woman gave for this was that she needed to train my daughter to her standard before she would allow her to have her own clients. Obviously my daughter was a bit confused that she hadnt mentioned this but because she wants to be a beautician so badly she agreed that was okay. My daughter was not on jobseekers she had a night job in a pub. When the six weeks finished the boss turn round to my daughter and said she needed further training and wasnt ready yet so she would have to do another 6 weeks of training and not get paid, but did promise to give her bits here and there when she had done well and after that period her hours would go up and she would get a proper wage. My daughter agreed thinking at least she would be getting something and in the mean time quit her bar job because she was so tired and also because she thought in a few weeks she would be on a proper wage. but in the following six weeks she received about £30.00. By this time she was now working unsupervised and already the hours had crept up to her working over 40 hours a week some weeks and didnt see the boss from one day to the next. The boss just seems to saunter in and out whenever and the girls are running the shop for her but only getting paid for 16 hours work when they are all doing nearer 40 or more. my daughter has worked there since May this year so thats 6 months and last week she finally confronted her boss about the hours she works for such little pay. she gets a hundred pounds a week for 40 hours work. She worked for 3 months with no pay at all. then she got bits here and there and then about 2 months ago went on to hundred pounds a week for 40 hours work. which is £2.50 an hour which I thought was disgusting. From that point she said she couldnt afford to pay her much more and said she would give her another £40 a week so thats £3.50 an hour and promised when it got busiier she would give her more. my daughter accepted this as it was at least something. However that was 2 weeks ago and she has only recieved the £140 for one week and last week it went back down to £100. My daughter asked her why and she said she couldnt afford it and she would have to go back down to working 16 hours and getting £100. I wouldnt mind she has never yet worked just a 16 hour week in that shop not even from the start, the first week she worked over 20 and by week 3 or 4 she was doing 40 hours a week. Its just a joke and this woman is such a hard face cow i could swing for her,. Last week she had the accountant in and asked my daughter to come over for a word and she then asked her to go on a training course which she does at home to do with customer service, and she told her it will lead to a proper qualifications. I am now thinking that this woman has mislead my daughter into giving her a full time job when in effect she is telling the tax people or whoever that she is taking on trainees and getting paid for them hence this customer service qualification all of a sudden because she cant say she is training her in beauty as she is already qualified so she has had to dream up a qualification to comply with the traineeship rules so she can get paid her two thousand ish pounds per staff member. Also that way she can get away legally with calling my daughter a trainee and only paying her the trainee minimum wage which i think is £2.68 an hour. I am so angry but dont know what to do to try and help my daughter, she loves her job and doesnt want to leave but hasnt got the confidence to stand up to her boss . any advice would be fantastic thankyou cher69cher69:-x

  21. Hi thank you for your reply and yes i agree my post is very long i just tried to get as much in as possible but obviously not enough, this is one of the problems i have with my mental illness that my brain doesnt work properly, i repeat myself and leave out the important bits. that is just the way it is. sometimes i get good days when i am a sharp as a button and other days i am not. Today is not too bad. (i think)! It is infuritating because i am not thick, I just have a mental illness, which means i my memory is rubbish and some days i can bearly string a sentance together. People dont understand when you ask them twice about something they have told you over and over again. So people loose patience with you especially on forums, if they dont read what problems you have to start with. That is why i am always so appreciative when people do have undersanding and patience with me because they have no idea how much that means to me. I try to keep a sense of humour and laff about it but its hard sometimes. See there i go again off topic and rambling. To answer your questions 1. yes i have posted on other forums. 2. I actually did use ground 1 on the original otws because I did not recieve any documentation after the initial pcn was put on my car. This is the truth, although I know i received the pcn and had every intention of paying it the week i got it, i was so angry with myself with the circumstances in which i got it were not my fault that i just opened the glove box and shoved it between my manual and some other stuff and forgot all about it, normally i would pin anything important on my notice board to remind me and this was my mistake. Then i received no reminders like the notice to owner nothing until the bailiff arrived and clamped my car at 7am when i was in bed ( I believe this is called phantom clamping) then he shoved a note through my door with the clampers name and mobile number and to pay £294 before 5pm or my car would be towed away. I told both the clamper and the council that i was classed as vulnerable and offered to pay £70 that day but both refused. I did send the n244 to the TEC. The reason i gave for not receiving the nto or other docs was that last year from june to december my post was going missing, and getting delivered later in the day sometimes after 3pm. I asked the postman why this was and he told me that strikes in other parts of the country were delaying the mail, also they brought in temporary staff who didnt know what they were doing so they had a back log of mail. and to top it off my regular post man left and i had about 4 in 6 months one who used to come in his car to deliver the mail. With new post men i also have another problem that my house is number 5 but it is the first house in the street and there is no number 1 so my mail goes down the street a lot if the postman doesnt see the number. Also i found out that some of my mail was going ot a woman in another street with the name similaar to mine Harwick instead of Warwick. So in those 6 months there were many reasons why i would not have received my mail and as i said it was a lot of mail that went missing and i complained to royal mail about it as i also had mail that i had sent never arrived and had to claim twice from them for lost items. So this was the reason i gave and put an article in about the strikes with my n244. whilst the n244 had been submitted i wrote to the council explaining my circumstances and pointing out what you stated and as yet no reply. so this is where i am at at the moment. with this letter not knowing what to do next should i send another letter to the council this time recorded delivery i hand delivered the last one. thank you i do appreciate your help. i know i sound really stupid so sorry about that.!!
  22. Hi everyone I am just posting an update in the hope that someone can help me further regarding a letter i received from court this morning which has me totally confused at what to do next and would appreciate any help you can give me. I received the following letter below:- The letter I received was headed REQUEST /ORDER REVIEW COURT OFFICERS ORDER NORTHAMPTON COUNTY COURT Then underneath it states the penalty charge number and the parties myself and my local council. Then it states (Before deputy district judge blogs on the 01.08.2013 without a hearing. IT IS ORDERED THAT 1. The application for leave to file a statutory declaration out of time/witness statement to be (REFUSED) This order has been made without a hearing under the Courts case management powers contained in the Civil Procedure Rules part 3. You may within 7 days of the service of this order , apply to set aside or vary the order under part 23 rule 10. You must file with the Court, and serve on the other parties an application that sets out your reasons for the objection. a fee is payable upon the filing of the application. Dated the 13th of August 2013 this gives me all of until the 17th of August to have this back to the court which is this saturday i dont know how they expect me to get another copy of income support award sent to me in that time to cover the legal costs they took over a week last time. because it only lasts for a month and the last one was dated the 10th of july so it ran out on the 10th of august. nightmare!! does anyone know what i should do next or why it was refused because i am at a loss at what to do and panicking now!! Sorry but your help as always would be much appreciated thank you kind regards to you all Maria3
