  1. Dont send 10 quid, if you want charges we'll provide em free as an informal request.
  2. Its actually easier if you use the roll number anyway IMO, saves me 5 minutes.
  3. Are you a BOS customer? If so, charges on mainframe only go back to 2004 on there and someone has made a mistake. Also, dont send £10, you dont need to

  5. If you've already settled the last claim and been charged again, if you claim it back they will give you 30 days and close your accout.
  6. Its not a ploy fool, its trying to settle the complaint before it gets to court stage. If you dont accept that, its the last i see of a complaint.

  8. Just so you know, everytime someone goes to FOS against us there is a £360.00 charge against the bank, per case. And if we're found to be wrong, we get fined too.

  10. I can tell you honestly that it IS a route banks are considering taking. And the fee's recouped from charges would pale in comparison to those made by charging for accounts. And in that way, everyone loses out.

  12. Just so you know, they wont offer a part payment, as they will not refund charges, and the stance is this. The payment you get is ex-gratia, as a gesture of goodwill, if you want to recieve a refund for all your charges you'll have to go down the county court route. The OFT ruled against credit card charges, not bank charges, think there will be a proper announcement about this soon.
