  1. Hi all, i have received an mediation appontment for 03/01/2024 at 13:00. Do you have any tips or advice for this? Would appreciate if you could share a link for me to go through before this mediation. thankyou!
  2. So MCOL have advised to wait 6 weeks from the 13/11/23 to know for sure if the DQ was filed by defendant or not as they are working through backlogs. So they will strike the defence out once they know for sure that the DQ wasnt filed in time. So I guess we’ll have to wait till the new year.
  3. So it’s just a waiting game now? I can’t do anything until the court decides to strike their defence?
  4. I just called them and they requested I look at the MCOL user guide and look at the steps on how to enter into judgement

It states if defendant does not comply the claim will automatically be struck out and the claimant will be at liberty to apply for judgement. do I need to wait till the claim is struck out then I could apply for judgement?   7. Yes I have sent my DQ, The letter is dated 31 October. So it has been 7 days. Can I apply for judgement in that case?

  10. A but of an update, EVRi have sent the defendant DQ and also agreed to the mediation. I guess next step will be the mediation
  11. So DQ has arrived in post. I have agreed to Mediation. I have also said this case isn’t suitable to be determined without a hearing. I send this back to court and a copy of the DQ to Evri, is that right?

  15. I didn’t as its against my religion, however in hindsight I should have and donated it.
  16. Ok I may go for the mediation option in that case. However, I will definitely be sticking out for the full value plus court cost. Do you know the general timeframe for this? I know they have 14 days to respond
  17. The particulars of claim were approved by yourself back in June hence I sent it across. the mediation aspect- I am thinking of declining. In your experience, Has there been cases successful at mediation stage?
  18. HI, I have been unwell and been out of country since this. I have only just recovered and filed my claim with county court today. I will keep you posted on here.

  20. Evri reply We are sincerely sorry that the settlement did not meet your expectations on this occasion. We have a contract with QVC to offer a standard return service with a maximum level of compensation set at £50. In the event of loss or damage this is the maximum settlement as agreed by both parties. As your settlement exceeds this value we would suggest that you speak with QVC. They can also check tracking with the parcel number provided. I understand that on this occasion you may want to refrain from providing any payment details until you have spoken to QVC, I will log the claim details and leave the claim open pending further instruction from yourself.
